The Hockey Hall of Fame consists of a rare group, the best of the best. To be inducted you have to have been a model of consistency and raised your game above all others. The Kings have been blessed to have had a few former players inducted. The Kings themselves have had a storied franchise carry on some of the most important highlights in NHL history. The players inducted have left a stamp on Los Angeles Kings hockey and will never be forgotten. These players will not only be in Kings history but NHL history. Without hesitation, I present a list of the current Los Angeles King Hall of Famers.

The list includes Rob Blake, Harry Howell, Luc Robitaille, Paul Coffey, Brian Kilrea, Terry Sawchuk, Marcel Dionne, Jari Kurri, Steve Shutt, Dick Duff, Larry Murphy, Billy Smith, Grant Fuhr, Bob Pulford, Rogie Vachon, Wayne Gretzky and Larry Robinson. The team also has the following inducted as builders; Red Kelly, Jack Milford and Roger Neilson. All of these great players brought something different to the table and made this franchise great. We wait to see which players from the current roster will make the Hall of Fame because there are a few that will make it for sure.

My experience with watching  some of these players took my breath away. Watching Gretzky passing from behind the net, Watching Kurri finish one of those Gretzky passes, Fuhr making a spectacular save at the right time, Coffey coaching the PowerPlay, Robitaille scoring to put the Kings ahead and Blake crunching someone with a big hit. They all caught your attention at one moment or another doing something spectacular. All of these players deserve to be there and get no argument from me. I loved watching most of these players play and all made me the fan I am today.
