Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Landry Shamet have been named to the NBA All-Rookie second team.
One thing to go unmentioned was that the Clips young duo were the only players on the entire all-rookie first or second teams to play in the playoffs this season.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had a good first season playing quite a few minutes, breaking through the rookie struggles midway through the season and elevating his game at the end of the season and into the playoffs. SGA was a surprising top 10 rookie this season while having his biggest games in the first round of the Western Conference playoffs verse the Warriors.

Our other guy Landry Shamet who was an excellent addition that came over from the 76ers in the Tobias Harris trade also was voted onto the All-Rookie second team as well. Shamet fit in with the Clips right away bringing his microwave like shooting to the team while able to knock down 3 ball after 3 ball scoring almost at will from behind the arc.

It’s great to see these boys play well throughout the season then ball out in the playoffs while facing a championship team–and then getting the recognition they deserve.

These young Clippers superstars in the making definitely were able to grow this year getting lots of playing time in some big-time games. The future looks bright for these young hoopers.
