The Los Angeles Kings have been busy the past week, re-signing 8 players to deals. Here are the transactions made by the Kings, with term of deal and 2018-19 stats, according to NHL.com.
7/10 Center Alex Iafallo was signed to a 2-year deal worth $4.85 million per year. Iafallo had 33 points on 15 goals and 18 assists in 82 games
7/11 Goaltender Lukas Parik signed a standard WHL contract with the Spokane Chiefs after being taken in the first round (43rd overall) in the CHL import draft. In 2018-19 with the Czech Under 19 team he compiled a 2.85 G.A.A. and a .915 save %. Forward Samuel Fagemo signed a 3 year, entry-level contract and recorded 14 goals and 11 assists for 25 points in 42 games for Forlunda (SHL) in 2018-19.
7/15 Forward Michael Amadio, Defensemen Danile Brickley and Matt Roy each signed 2 year contract extensions, while Forward Sheldon Rempal signed his qualifying offer. Amadio recorded 14 goals and 25 assists for 39 points in 71 games, split between Los Angeles and Ontario (AHL). Brickley scored 13 points (2 goals and 11 assists) while splitting time between Los Angeles and Ontario. He was signed as an unrestricted free agent in March 2018. Roy scored 35 points (10 goals and 25 assists) in 70 combined Los Angeles and Ontario games. Rempal registered 40 points on 15 goals and 25 assists with Ontario but was held scoreless in 7 Kings games.
Finally, the Kings signed goaltender Cal Petersen to a 3-year deal worth $2.575 million, which is a steal for a goaltender who is a future starter. Petersen recorded 5 wins, 4 losses one tie and one shutout while posting a 2.60 G.A.A. and a .924 save %.
