As Training Camp approaches one of the biggest questions of the Lakers is the starting lineup. The Lakers have new players at every position and who starts the game will be an important decision for Frank Vogel.

There was talk about LeBron starting at point guard full time but those talks have died down recently. The Lakers have many different lineups they can use. James at the point guard position is probably the best lineup. A lineup of James, Green, Kuzma, Davis, and Mcgee has the size and length to guard every position along with good shooting.

Anthony Davis stated that he would be more comfortable at the 4 opposed to the 5. This means that most likely JaVale Mcgee will start at center. Unless LeBron starts at the point guard position, Kyle Kuzma will most likely come off the bench as the sixth man. Rajon Rondo may join Danny Green in the backcourt with LeBron at his natural small forward position.

The lineup to end games should have LeBron at the point guard position with Davis at the 5 with 3 capable shooters on the wing. Frank Vogel will have a difficult job managing these lineups and these personalities. Luke Walton had a tough time with managing the starting lineup last season, which led to a slow start.

The western conference is too deep to have lineup issues early in the season. As training camp lookout for how Vogel manages lineups.
