The Lakers opened the preseason with a matchup against the Golden State Warriors. The Lakers dominated for most of the game and won 123-101. The dynamic duo of LeBron James and Anthony Davis was on full display. The chemistry between the two appeared effortless and enjoyable.

The Lakers started a lineup with LeBron at point guard along with Avery Bradley, Danny Green, JaVale Mcgee, and Anthony Davis. This lineup is dominant defensively with rim protection and rebounding with McGee and Davis.

The perimeter defense looked impressive with Bradley and Green. The defense allowed the Lakers to run and score easy baskets in transition. The Lakers had 32 assists as a team and shot 47.5% from the floor per nba.com.

The bench for the Lakers will be great once Kuzma returns from injury. Rondo played well along with Alex Caruso, who finished with 10 pts 6 assists and 2 steals, per nba.com. Anthony Davis was the key to this win with his finishing around the rim and great defense. The offense will go through Davis and he proved that this offense will be one of the best in the NBA.

This is just the beginning for the Lakers but the potential for this team will be very special to watch.
