Kobe Bryant has been inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Bryant is one of the best players ever and played 20 years with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Let’s take a look back at 5 historic moments across Bryant’s Hall of Fame career.
1) Game 4 of the 2000 NBA Finals
The Lakers were in danger of losing after Shaquille Oneal fouled out.
Kobe took the game over in crunch time with clutch shots and game-winning layup with 5.9 seconds. This was the start of something special.
2) Game 1 & 4 of the 2001 Western Conference Finals
The Lakers were en route to a sweep of the Sacramento Kings when Kobe had one of the greatest playoffs game ever. Kobe scored 48 points and 16 rebounds in Game 4. Game 1 against the San Antonio Spurs, Kobe did it again and made a statement. Kobe scored 45 points and 10 rebounds as the Lakers swept the Spurs en route to their second championship.
3) 62 points in 3 quarters
Kobe was on a mission in the 2005-06 season to get the Lakers in the playoffs. The Dallas Mavericks were one of the best teams in the league and Kobe needed to send them a message.
Bryant scored 32 points in the first half and scored 30 points in the 3rd quarter. Kobe outscored the Mavericks 62-61 after 3 quarters. One of the best games Kobe ever played.
4) The Shot Against the Suns
It was Game 4 of the 2006 playoffs first round. The Lakers have an opportunity to go up 3-1 in the series. The Lakers are down 1 and the ball ends up in Kobe’s hands and he rises and shoots his pull up jumper and BANG! Kobe hits the buzzer-beater and one of his biggest shots ever.
5) 81 Points
The second-highest scoring game ever. The Lakers were down double digits until Kobe took the game over. Bryant had said that certain teams can be demoralized by scoring a lot of points. Kobe knew that once the Lakers got the lead that they would win and it turned into 81 points.
