Rajon Rondo’s impact on the floor is just what this Lakers team needed.
Rondo’s importance is related to LeBron James. James at 35 years old in his 17th season cannot be the primary point guard and play great defense. James needs somebody to take the pressure off of him as the primary ball-handler so that he can focus his energy on defense.
Rondo gives the Lakers a second point guard and a playoff performer.
Playoff Rondo is real and he elevates his play in big moments in the playoffs. Rondo is a champion and has had battles in the playoffs for most of his career.
His experience and intelligence is extremely helpful for Caruso, Kuzma, KCP, and Markieff Morris.
The Lakers’ championship experience is what will help them win the championship.
Rajon Rondo will continue to contribute and take the pressure off of LeBron James as the primary point guard.
