The prospect pool for Los Angeles is deep, talented, and ready for the show. The Kings have many talented prospects all over the world, from overseas to the CHL and some in even lower leagues.
Which prospects are ahead of schedule and ready to make a statement as soon as this year?
The center position has Alex Turcotte, Quinton Byfield (who just signed his ELC this past week), Johan Sodergran, Akil Thomas, Tyler Madden.
Right Wingers are Samuel Fagemo, Arthur Kaliyev, Rasmus Kupari, Alex Laferriere, Aatu Jamsen.
Martin Chromiak, Aidan Dudas, Bokondji Imama, Bulat Shafigullin, Andre Lee lead the left-wing prospects.
The rich, defensive position has Sean Durzi, Markus Phillips, Jordan Spence, Helge Grans, Kim Nousiainen.
Lastly, the all-important goaltending position includes Jacob Ingham, Lukas Parik, Juho Markinnen, David Hrenak, Matt Villalta.
Busy times for these young men. Those will include ups, downs, highs, lows. However, these prospects are intelligent enough to know the road ahead will be a difficult one.
The Kings organization knows these young men will be leading the Kings for the next 10-20 years and have put a lot of faith in their development.
The names above will be at center ice in the Staples Center in the next couple of years so get to know them now.
