The Arizona Coyotes and defenseman Jakob Chychrun are looking for a trade partner, and they may have one in the Los Angeles Kings.
Will general manager Rob Blake pull the trigger?
Blake and the Kings have been busy this offseason, adding pieces for a deep playoff run in the 2021-22 NHL season. The Kings are loaded with young talent, and the Coyotes are ready to part with Chychrun.
The Coyotes asking price? 2 1st round picks.
This is not unusual for a team to ask for this, considering Chychrun is an elite defenseman.
Will the Kings pay the price? They could do just that and add a lower-level prospect to sweeten the deal.
He would be a big part of the defense moving forward and give the Kings a scary defensive unit.
Mikey Anderson, Drew Doughty, Matt Roy, Sean Walker, Alex Edler, and Chychrun. This defense could win the Kings a Stanley Cup in the very near future. Add that with the additions and re-signings at the forward position, and the Kings have the makings of a serious cup contender.

This move would push them forward into contenders and give them a legit defense. Chychrun is an all-around defenseman that could take some pressure off of other Kings blueliners. He is a minute eater and can play in all situations. Is he worth 2 1st round picks? For his talent and upside, I pull the trigger. Can I also add he is only 23?
Will Rob Blake pull the trigger and bring him to Los Angeles?
The move would not take anyone off of the Kings roster or anyone from AHL affiliate Ontario Reign.
The 1st round picks are not guaranteed to be top 5, and the reward is higher than the risk.
Would you make this trade?
Would you add something to sweeten the deal?
