After getting embarrassed by the Rapids on decision day, LAFC will have the opportunity to get revenge on them in their home opener. They will take on Colorado on February 26, 2022, at Banc of California Stadium. It doesn’t get easier for LAFC as they welcome to the Banc the Portland Timbers. Portland has historically been one of the tougher opponents for LAFC. We’ll get a good measure of what kind of season we are in for. We skip all the way to April 9th, where we will have the first of only two El Traffico matchups. LAFC will go down to Carson and play at Dignity Health Sports Park and with a 2021 record of 0-2-1 against the Galaxy.

This season LAFC will take on two new opponents for the first time ever in club history. Their first match against a new opponent will be against Nashville SC on July 17th.LAFC will head off to Nissan Stadium to take on Nashville SC.

The second match against a new opponent will be against the 2021 expansion team Charlotte FC on August 13th. This will also be the return of Pablo Sisniega to the Banc, a goalkeeper with a promising future but just wasn’t convincing enough for LAFC to keep.
