Continuing With The Strong Start

LAFC had a convincing win against the Vancouver Whitecaps; defeating the Canadian club 3-0 and totaling a 6-0 win in aggregate. With this victory LAFC now moves on to the semifinals where they will either play Atlas de Guadalajara or the Philadelphia Union. LAFC is just two steps away from cementing themselves as a top tier MLS Club. Obviously the club comes off winning the 2022 MLS Cup to complete the double but that was just the first step. They had a stacked lineup last season that indicated it was either boom or bust for them. This season many faces left the franchise and yet they continue to dominate the competitions. It also helps when star players play at their highest level. Which is what Gabonese star Denis Bouanga has been doing for Los Angelinos. All around LAFC have been a dominating team this year and it’s thanks to John Thorrington and the scouting department.

Cementing LAFC as a Powerhouse

LAFC continues gaining momentum and popularity year after year. With 2022 being a culmination of all the hard work and effort that has been put into the club. Winning the Supporter’s shield and MLS Cup has certainly made LAFC a household name. However, if they win the Concacaf Champions League then LAFC will definitely be the team that runs MLS. It would also mark a historic landmark. As the CCL trophy will stay in the U.S in back-to-back years. Something that has never been done in the new format. It could also mean a shift in power as Liga MX has dominated the CCL for years. LAFC are legitimate contenders for this title and they would make a great representative at the Club World Cup tournament. A CCL win would cement LAFC as the team of Los Angeles. LAFC is knocking at the doorsteps of history and are just mere inches away from cementing themselves as a powerhouse in the Western Hemisphere.
