Tuesday, May 2, Los Angeles Football Football Club will face Philadelphia Union in the second leg of the CONCACAF Champions League.

LAFC knows this game is their biggest game of the season in all competitions.

Now or Never

After drawing 1-1 at Subaru Park, this result is good for LAFC, as the Black and Gold have a good record at home this season. Kellyn Acosta’s last-minute goal gave LAFC the advantage and the confidence to win in the second leg.

However, Philadelphia Union will never forget what happened in the MLS 2022 final. After Jack Elliot’s last-minute goal, the club and fans thought this was their moment to lift the trophy until Gareth Bale came on and got a famous equalizer to end the game in a penalty shootout.

This Tuesday’s game is a chance for Philadelphia Union to get revenge and advance to the final. In the last five games between the two teams, the Union gave LAFC a hard time. But LAFC beat Philadelphia Union twice and drew four.

Although the record is tight, Philadelphia Union is prepared and will devise a game plan. The Union can ruin how LAFC plays by putting pressure and being well-organized at the back. But LAFC has to be innovative and play their football. LAFC’s team can beat anyone in their path and go far.

LAFC was in the CONCACAF Champions League Final in 2020 after losing to Mexican Club Tigres UNAL 2-1. Meanwhile, the Union can go to the final for the first time if they win versus LAFC. But LAFC has the upper hand as they have the experience, the squad, and the fans are on their side.

This is another opportunity for LAFC to reach another final and face either Leon or Tigres UNAL. They are not only reaching a final but also bringing a new trophy to their trophy cabinet
