Hirving Lozano looks like he’s leaving Napoli and prefers to move to LAFC to Saudi Arabia.
However, it’s not confirmed that LAFC is interested in him, but according to Corriere dello Sport, Lozano prefers a move to Los Angeles.

The 27-year-old has one year left on his contract with Napoli, and the Serie A champions are keen to cash in on Lozano to prevent him from leaving on a free transfer next year.

Lozano hasn’t reached another level at Napoli since leaving PSV in 2019. Napoli paid 42 million, making Lozano Napoli’s most expensive signing at the time and the highest transfer fee paid for a Mexican player.

The winger made 155 appearances in all competitions for Napoli, scoring 30 goals in the process.

Would LAFC go for Lozano?

Although it is unlikely to see Lozano in an LAFC shirt this summer, next summer might be possible, but again it will be unlikely.

Napoli is willing to accept offers in the region of $25 million this summer, which is unlikely for any MLS club to sign him.

Lozano still has a few years to play in Europe before going to the MLS, Liga MX, or other league outside Europe.

Lozano Fit With LAFC

If Lozano goes to Los Angeles Football Club, a party will be at the BMO stadium. He could replace Carlos Vela, score goals, and provide assists. He could tear up in the MLS and be a big signing for the MLS, although Lionel Messi is the most significant signing ever for the league.

If Vela stays, Lozano will be joining him for a few years. He could teach Lozano about the club and what it means to play for the club. Vela has been at LAFC for five years and has been one of the best players for the Black and Gold.

Lozano can help the club financially as he is one of the famous Mexican players. The kits could be top-selling, and Lozano will fill the BMO Stadium. Lozano still has the quality and can reach a new level if he plays for LAFC.

My concern is his leadership and if he can perform at a high level every season.
But, coach Steve Cherundolo could get the best out of Lozano, and his tactics could help his style of play.
