Kings Announce 2024 Rookie Faceoff Schedule
The Los Angeles Kings will host the 2024 NHL Rookie Face-off this season.
Seven teams will compete, with the Seattle Kraken competing only twice.
The teams include the Kings, the Kraken, the Colorado Avalanche, the San Jose Sharks, the Utah Hockey Club, the Anaheim Ducks, and the Vegas Golden Knights.
Kings Rookies Set to Compete
While each team’s roster is unknown, we do know the schedule. The face-off will take place from September 13 to 16 at the Toyota Sports Performance Center in El Segundo, California. The seven teams will send their prospects to the 10-game showcase during the four-day event.
Three games will take place on Friday, September 13, followed by two on Saturday, September 14, and two on Sunday, September 15. Monday, September 16, will be the final day of the competition, and six of the seven teams will see action.

- Game 1: San Jose vs Utah, 1:00 p.m. PT (NHL rink 1)
- Game 2: Colorado vs Anaheim, 3:30 p.m. PT (NHL rink 2)
- Game 3: Vegas vs Los Angeles, 7:00 p.m. PT (NHL rink 1)
Saturday, Sept 14
- Game 1: Seattle vs Colorado, 3:00 p.m. PT (NHL rink 1)
- Game 2: Utah vs Los Angeles, 7:00 p.m. PT (NHL rink 1)
Sunday, Sept 15
- Game 1- Vegas vs Seattle, 1:00 p.m. PT (NHL rink 1)
- Game 2- Anaheim vs San Jose 4:30 p.m. PT (NHL rink 1)
Monday, Sept 16
- Game 1- Colorado vs San Jose 11:30 a.m. PT (NHL rink 1)
- Game 2- Utah Hockey Club vs Vegas 12:30 p.m. PT (NHL rink 2)
- Game 3- Anaheim vs Los Angeles 3:30 p.m. PT (NHL rink 1)
Look forward to Liam Greentree, goaltender Carter George, and other 2024 NHL Draft picks participating in this rookie face-off.
This is a perfect scenario for these young players to put their skills to the test against other top rookies from six other teams.
